Little things could have been better and a lot could have been worse... so definitively a great day out from moonset ππββοΈπ to sunset.
The day started under almost a full moon π, reflecting on the glaciers while going up to Grosse Scheidegg.
The first kms were on asphalt on a wide road. At km 4 or so it came a single trail where more than 600 participants try to find their place causing a decent bottle neck, however no rush, still a lot ahead π.
The bottle neck lasted a few minutes and then it kept in packed single row πΆββοΈπΆββοΈπΆββοΈπΆββοΈ for 2 kms. It's a nice scene since you see planty of torches shaping a big snake under the moonlight. At the time we arrived to Grosse Scheidegg with 8kms and our first 1000m β¬οΈ we could see the sunrise π in the other side of the pass.
We kept on a flowy trail βοΈ βοΈ to First but before arriving we had a drop of about 600m β¬οΈ to go back up β¬οΈ by the other side. I felt very good in the climb... and I was more conservative on the downhill. Then I arrived and crossed through the walk cliff which is very scenic π€©.
